Noel, Eight years ago my husband and I met you during Market Night in Kailua, HI. You were sitting on a low concrete barrier outside the parking garage and we joined you. We struck up a conversation and you told us you were visiting Kailua because you had fond memories of your time here with your wife, who had recently passed away. You wrote down the name of her blog and disease on a piece of paper I'd pulled from my purse. I want you to know that I still have that piece of paper and just finished re-reading her blog. Such a difficult journey you both endured. We return to Kailua every year and think of our encounter when we visit the Thursday night market.
